This Is All There Is When There Is All This

The clouds are a motif in my sculptural explorations into abstract forms. They often appear in the scenographic environments of my performance works. Usually made from a metallic wire mesh, each unit is uniquely contoured. The sieve-like material, traditionally used to separate, suggests here a porous membrane that enables passage. The units are suspended at varying heights and distances using transparent fishing line, giving them a floating appearance. Mixed media installation with suspended wire mesh sculptures (varying sizes), fishing line, multiple stage lights. Varying from 3 ft to 15 ft or more.
