"I Pledge a Credence" is an almost 11 foot long American flag made entirely of 201lb poster bond paper, tempera paint, and wheatpaste. The American flag is torn, exposing the pledge of allegiance underneath on white paper. The white paper with the pledge is also torn, exposing the confederate battle flag.

We're reminded of how great the Untied States of America is when we look at the flag and recite the pledge of allegiance. But, is this country great to all its citizens? Is it possible the values of the Confederate States of America, also known as the first domestic terrorists, are the actual foundation of this country?
