Cat Town

I've always been annoyed in anthropomorphic animal movies when the background is designed to be a normal human city, and all the animals live in boring old human houses. I believe it's a waste of creative potential, as creating environments best suited for the anatomy of specific animals could be really cool. So when designing a town for cats, I thought they would live vertically in skyscraper structures that resemble cat towers. I took inspiration from real life cat-themed buildings, for example, the mural in the back is based off a graffiti wall in Bogota, Columbia. The setting is also based off my experience living in Houston, where I lived underneath a giant highway.
