This is a piece I began working on right at the beginning of the pandemic; it focuses on the feeling of dissociation induced by isolation— something that was very prevalent in my life around the time quarantine started. I wanted spectators to gaze at this piece and get lost in what they’re looking at, to almost lose track of time trying to figure out what’s going on as a way to force an obscure state of mind onto the viewer, similar to how one feels while dissociating.
