Transfer Credit Evaluations

Please direct all transfer credit evaluation requests to [email protected].


For evaluation of domestic courses not already listed in the University of Michigan’s Transfer Credit Equivalency Search, please submit the following:

  • Name of school

  • City and state where school is located

  • The semester and year that you plan to take the course

  • Course number and name
    Example: ART 111: Basic Drawing

  • The course’s syllabus that you have obtained from the school


For evaluation of international courses not already listed in the University of Michigan’s Study Abroad Transfer Credit Equivalency Search, please submit the following:

  • Name of international program

  • Name of program provider

  • City and country where program is located

  • The semester and year that you plan to participate in the program

  • Course number and name
    Example: ART 111: Basic Drawing

  • The course’s syllabus that you have obtained from the school


If you have already completed the course that you are wishing to transfer, you will need to request the host school to send your official transcript to [email protected] after your grade has been posted. We cannot accept transcripts sent by students.
