Spring Pre-College Studio for grades 9-12
Interested in graphic design? Get your start in Design Fundamentals!
Design Fundamentals focuses on developing the basic visual skills used by artists and designers when working creatively in two dimensions. Students will gain familiarity and hands-on experience with a variety of two-dimensional practices and media. The majority of each class session is structured as studio time, giving students significant time to build their 2D design skills and to apply new concepts. Analog, digital, and lens-based media will be employed. Lectures, demonstrations, handouts, and slides will enhance covered material.
Design Fundamentals meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:30 pm at the Stamps School of Art & Design for a total of eleven sessions.
