Spring Pre-College Studio for grades 9-12
Did you know that all Stamps undergraduate students are required to take Studio: 3D as a part of their first year experience? Adding three-dimensional work to your portfolio suggests that you are prepared for the Stamps curriculum!
3D Explorations is a new Stamps Pre-College Program offered this spring. This class will survey the elements of 3D design and introduces high school students to the rigor of a college-level course in 3D Design or Sculpture. Students will learn the fundamentals of working with space and form and work with materials and processes used to create three-dimensional works of art and design. Lectures, demonstrations, handouts, and slides will enhance studio projects.
3D Explorations meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:30 pm at the Stamps School of Art & Design for a total of eleven sessions.
