Nick La Marca is an Artist/Documentarian working in the field of photography and installation building. Having been born and raised in New York City, but the Bronx more specifically, Nick at an early age understood the importance of vibrant and diverse cultures. His Art and careers have been directly influenced by the values instilled in him from these cultures and communities, shaping his artistic practice as a vehicle for social impact and change. Shining light on seemingly micro issues by connecting them to the macro has been at the heart of all of his projects. Recognition and research are central to his processes when selecting and executing his next story or project to better serve the subject matter and afflicted communities. Art and design as a social practice fuels Nick by bridging creativity and social responsibility.
