Haley Babcock Perkins

Haley Babcock Perkins (she/her) is an experienced educator with a 15-year career spanning arts organizations, schools, museums, and even public television. As Public Programs and Engagement Officer at the Stamps Gallery, she oversees programming including artist talks, workshops, and tours, all designed to enhance exhibitions at the gallery and foster connections among students, faculty, and the broader community. She is passionate about making everyone feel welcomed, inspired, and curious in art spaces through integrating interactive experiences and facilitating thoughtful conversations.

Haley is also a member of the U-M Voices of the Staff, Enhance the Employee Experience cohort, where she is able to advocate for staff wellbeing at the university.

Before joining Stamps, Haley held roles at the Cincinnati Art Museum, WFSU Public Media, the Des Moines Art Center, and the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. In addition to her dual bachelor’s degrees from IUI, she has completed graduate coursework in Museum Education at Florida State University.

When she’s not visiting a museum, you’ll likely find Haley at the park with her husband and daughter observing birds, at the farmer’s market, or painting in her home studio.
