Aniko Varga is a limited license psychologist who earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Michigan State University’s Counseling and Psychiatric Services, where she also received a certificate in multicultural counseling. Aniko integrates contextual behavioral science with a multicultural framework to help students navigate challenges and create a life that aligns with their values.
In her embedded role, Aniko strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where students feel heard, understood, and empowered. She has generalist training in clinical psychology, with specific interests in anxiety, depression, stress, cultural food security, supporting international students and individuals with marginalized identities, and helping students manage the intersection of physical and mental health.
Aniko is a Hungarian national originally from Romania. She brings valuable language skills to her practice, being fluent in English, Hungarian, and Romanian.
