Sophia Brueckner at NEA Roundtable

Bio smaller

Stamps Assistant Professor Sophia Brueckner was invited by the National Endowment for the Arts as one of 15 midwestern artists to participate in a roundtable focusing on Art & Technology held at Wasserman Projects in Detroit on November 11th and 12th.

The event in Detroit was one of four events taking place in four different cities. These events and one additional virtual roundtable, created opportunities to engage with and learn from artists whose practices involve technology as a creative medium. NEA’s definitions, and therefore the roundtable participants, were purposefully broad and inclusive, bringing together artists whose approaches and projects represent a range of practices within established and emerging disciplines.
