Satori Circus Performs at Work • Detroit

On Friday 2 October, Satori Circus, (aka A&D alum Russell Taylor) brought his migratory performance, No Fixed Address, to Work • Detroit as part of the ArtDetroitNow evening of programming, an annual event designed to connect and promote creative communities in Detroit’s cultural center. Work•Detroit was the final stop on Satori Circus’ four hour migratory progression from the Scarab Club to CCS Galleries, the DIA, the Detroit Artists Market, Cass Café, and finally Work•Detroit. Using props, audience participation, and song Satori Circus energized a packed house, including a large group of students from Buffalo State University who happened to be on a field trip and came in to join the fun.
