Russell Thayer Exhibits at Grand Rapids Art Museum for ArtPrize 2010

A&D Lecturer Russell Thayer (BS Design 1957, MA Sculpture 1961) has been invited by the Grand Rapids Art Museum to exhibit his sculpture, Unfolding Arch, during ArtPrize 2010. The work will be installed at the main entrance of the museum. This 11’ x 8’ painted sculpture was recently exhibited at the Marshall Fredericks Sculpture Museum. A city-wide public celebration on September 22 will open the ArtPrize exhibition which runs through October 13.
