A mixed media painting by San Diego artist Robin Street-Morris (BFA 2000) will be included in Forest and Tree: A Multitude of Gifts, an art exhibit on display at Matthaei Botanical Gardens from November 28, 2015 — January 3, 2016.
Street-Morris’ work, “Huron River at Dusk”, a transparent watercolor and soft pastel painting on 300lb cold press paper by Robin Street-Morris, will be featured in the exhibition, which includes works in a variety of media inspired by and drawn from artists’ views of the forest or of trees. Forest and Tree: A Multitude of Gifts will be on display in conjunction with the winter installation of the conservatory exhibit The Gift of Trees: 10 Plants that Changed the World.
