Quiet Accumulations, an exhibition of work by second-year Stamps MFA candidates Mary Ayling, Trevor King, Clara McClenon and Math Monahan, opens at Detroit’s Carr Center with a reception Thurs., Mar. 20 from 6 — 9 pm.
Our lives are made up of a multitude of small accumulations. Sounds building on one another to create words, minutes gathering into hours, gestures becoming actions. ‘Quiet Accumulations’ presents 4 artists working with notions of amassing both the ephemeral and physical.
