Omar Sosa-Tzec: UMOR to Support Research on Interaction Design Practices

Stamps Assistant Professor Omar Sosa-Tzec has received a $15,000 University of Michigan Office of Research (UMOR) award for his research on ​“Creative Deviations in Interaction Design.” This research investigates how UX/UI practitioners respect and deviate from design principles to come up with novel interfaces and interactions. Prof. Sosa-Tzec aims to elicit practice-based knowledge that can support the analysis and generation of such interfaces.
