Nick Azzaro on Arts in Education Panel
Nick Azzaro (MFA ’22), will be speaking on a panel regarding arts in education at Mount Clemens High School, presented by the Anton Art Center on Thursday August 19th at 7 pm.
Panel topics include: creating spaces for the Black community and other communities of color to feel heard and seen in Macomb County art, lived experiences in the county related to art, engagement with the Anton Art Center, and the types of experiences and engagements participants would like to have.
“While this event will be taking place in Mt. Clemens, this is a conversation that should be happening in many parts of this country,” Azzaro said.
