Nick and Yen Azzaro on WEMU
Husband and wife alumni Nick (BFA ‘04) and Yen Azzaro (BFA ‘03) were recently featured on WEMU for their social art movement “Y‑Fi,” short for Ypsi Fidelity.
The Azzaro’s work with Ypsilanti Community High School students weekly to prepare performance art pieces and develop professional skills in photography and marketing. Monthly, they produce art happenings in and around Ypsilanti. The project is made possible by Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation’s In Our Neighborhood grant and in partnership with Eastern Michigan University Bright Futures.
