Michael Flynn Exhibits in ISEA 2012

Electrolysis Wash DC800x600 1

A&D Lecturer Michael Flynn’s latest interactive art and science experience will debut in The International Symposium of Electronic Art Downtown Block Party in Albuquerque, NM on September 23, 2012. The Electrolysis Detonator uses hand-cranked electrical generators to separate H2O molecules into tiny bubbles of hydrogen and oxygen. Glinting as they ascend a brightly illuminated water column, the bubbles collect in an underwater ignition chamber where these elements are dramatically rejoined with an explosive pop” sound.
