Engagement Programs Coordinator and instructor Melanie Manos’ ​“The Climb II” is a selected work in switch 2023/PLAY, an exhibition in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, Ireland. The exhibition is on view through November 5, 2023.

In the exhibition, contemporary video and film works from national and international artists are back-projected onto coated windows, transforming spaces and shop windows into screens in the townscape. 

With ​“The Climb II,” Manos evokes both early video game aesthetics and silent film-esque movement. 

The video projection was previously on view at Site:Lab in Grand Rapids, MI, as part of Artprize 2013, and The Zuckerman Museum of Art in 2015.
