Masimba Hwati's Sound Art Featured on German Public Radio
On October 22nd, 2021, at 12:05am CET, the German Public radio program Deutschland Finkultur will present a 51-minute sound art feature by Masimba Hwati (MFA ’19). This feature is a poetic sound and quasi-musical composition made up from field recordings from the black market in Harare, Zimbabwe and archival materials from wartime radio in Zimbabwe from the years 1964 – 1975.
