Lily Cox-Richard: The Great Poor Farm Experiment

A&D Assistant Professor and fellow in the Michigan Society of Fellows, Lily Cox-Richard is exhibiting new work in The Great Poor Farm Experiment III, opening August 5, 6, and 7, 2011 at The Poor Farm in Manawa, Wisconsin. Lily has been casting hundreds of mushrooms for her project in the Poor Farm’s Cemetery, exploring sculpture’s capacity for commemoration with attention to what lies beneath it.
