Jenny Schu: Midwest Weavers Conference Awards

Jenny Schu (BFA ​’04) received three awards at the 2023 Midwest Weavers Association Conference. Schu’s ​“Leaf Me Alone” was awarded First Place and People’s Choice in Home Goods (Wall Art), and her ​“Neon Gypsy Bracelet” was awarded Third Place for Accessories. 

“Leaf Me Alone” and other pieces of Schu’s work will be featured in A Brave New World: Fiber Art in the 21^st Century, a group exhibition on view at the Adrian Art Center September 11-October 14, 2023. The exhibition includes work by Jill Ault, Boisali Biswas, Lois Bryant, Susan Moran, Sally Rose, Dolores Slowinski, Najma Ma’at Wilson and Anne Flora.
