Taught jointly by faculty of the Ross School of Business and the Stamps School of Art & Design, the annual Integrated Product Design course challenges cross-disciplinary student teams to design, build, and market a brand new product, and then to face free market competition through the IPD Trade Show.

In addition, the student teams designed a product-driven solution that might for example help seniors in one or more of the areas of household tasks, hobbies, mobility, physical safety and health, mental health, and maintaining social connections.

  • Products are finished prototypes

  • No actual sales are made, and no money changes hands
