Endi Poskovic Presents in Poland, Curates Kraków International Triennial
Endi Poskovic has been named the President of the Jury and co-curator of the 2012 Kraków International Triennial of Graphic Arts, the largest and most prestigious international printmedia exhibition in the world. During the three-day proceedings in July, and after reviewing works by over 1000 artists, Endi Poskovic and co-curator Katarzyna Wojtyga met with a team of jurors from England, Poland and Austria at Krakowska Akademia im Andrzeja Frycza Modrzewskiego in Poland and presented the final selection of works for the exhibition. Organized every three years in cooperation between partners of the Europe-based International Print Network, (Vienna, Oldenburg, Istanbul, Falun, Katowice, Kraków) a selection of works from the main Triennial exhibition in Kraków will also be showcased at Künstlerhaus Vienna, Austria, Horst-Janssen Museum in Oldenburg, Germany, Dalarnas Museum in Falun, Sweden, Mimar Sinan University Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey and Rondo Sztuki gallery in Katowice, Poland. The main exhibition opens in Bunkier Sztuki Center for Contemporary Art in Kraków on September 14, 2012 and will showcase approximately 300 works by 230 artists from 53 different countries.
