Crow Barn 27 at ArtPrize

Peter Crow’s (BFA 1976) Crow Barn 27, has been installed in the Women’s City Club, an ArtPrize venue in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The oil on canvas measures 7’ x 10’, and was completed this year. Of his work, Crow said: ​“My work is a process of pictorial discovery. I learn how to construct the image as I go and I endeavor to take advantage of accidents as opportunities for growth. I court failure in my work as it leads to progress; indeed, it may be an important means for progress.”
