Melis Agabigum (BFA 13) is the co-curator of Mistaken for Strangers, a group exhibition on view at the Ann Arbor Art Center’s 117 Gallery through February 28

A group show by the midwest-based contemporary jewelry collective 6X, the exhibition explores the similarities of the artists’ seemingly different practices, linking each member together through various degrees of separation and provoking consideration of our interconnected world.

Mistaken for Strangers has been traveling world wide, and was originally shown during Athens Jewelry Week 2019 and again during NYC Jewelry Week 2019

Mistaken for Strangers
Featuring work by Melis Agabigum, Rachel Andrea Davis, Joshua Kosker, Brooke Marks-Swanson, Masako Onodera, and Jina Seo.
