Cathy VanVoorhis: Painting in Museum Exhibit and Publication
Cathy VanVoorhis’ (MFA 1986) oil painting, Shalda Creek at Lake Michigan, will be published in the book “Art of The Sleeping Bear Dunes”, out this fall from Leelanau Press. The painting will also be in an exhibition at the Dennos Museum Center in Traverse City. The exhibit features the paintings that were selected for publication in the book. The exhibit at Dennos Museum Center will be held from Oct. 13, 2013 through Jan. 5, 2014. The opening reception will be held Saturday, Oct. 12th from 7 – 9 p.m.
