On Friday, March 29, Bridget Quinn (MFA ‘19) was a guest on WDET’s Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson. Quinn, whose creative work explores borderlands between the city and nature, also uses creativity, citizen activism, and participation in local government to raise awareness about water and water pollution in her home of Warren, Michigan. She spoke with Henderson for an episode on ways that artists are exerting their political voices in Southeast Michigan. Learn more about Quinn’s work through the 2019 MFA Thesis Exhibition: Dry Socks in a Submerged Canoe and listen to the Detroit Today episode to learn more.
