Audrey Bennett Delivers Invited Lecture at Yale

On May 11, 2019, Professor Audrey G. Bennett delivered an invited lecture at After the Bauhaus, Before the Internet: A History of Graphic Design Pedagogy, a conference organized by the Department of the History of Art at Yale University’s School of Art. Titled The Difference It Makes Who is Speaking: An autoethnography of minor literatures in graphic design at Yale School of Art,” her presentation argued for the adoption of a more integrative process in graphic design pedagogy where major and minor literature come together to bring about the end of marginalization and the beginning of consciousness about the contributions of others’ to the discipline.
