Description: Summer programs at Ewha International Summer College engage students in lively interactions with peers and faculty through enriching academics and experiential learning. The college is open to both males and females and features small class sizes as well as a faculty-to-student ratio that provides an intimate learning environment for students. Stamps students enroll in the 4‑week Session 1 and take 2 studio courses totaling 6 credits. Courses are taught in English. Korean language classes are available and taught at all levels, including beginning. Enrollment is highly recommended, but not required. Featured art and design courses include Korean Traditional Painting, Making Korean Traditional Paper and Stamps, Drawing Practice, Korean Ceramics, Korean Wrapping Cloth: Jogakbo, Korean Cultural Space, Visual Journal, and Korean Wood Carving: Kokdu (wood puppet). Students are not restricted to Art & Design courses; they may enroll in other subject areas if they wish.Frequency: This course is typically offered in the summer term of every academic year, though scheduling may vary according to future term circumstances.
