Prerequisites: All OF THE FOLLOWING: ARTDES 100: Any 100 Level Studio.

Description: This course focuses on frame loom weaving and structural textiles. Techniques include weaving, knitting, knotting, basketry, and structures for sculptural forms. Students develop a broad understanding of fiber arts with a series of readings and in-class discussions that build a foundational understanding of contemporary textiles.

Frequency: This course is typically offered in the winter term of every academic year, though scheduling may vary according to future term circumstances.
