Description: Documentary Film/​Video: Social Justice is an opportunity to create and produce short nonfiction film/​videos exploring subjects of social, political, human interest and issues of representation using a variety of approaches that may include documentation, information, satire, social commentary, poetry, engagement, or collaboration, animation, or found footage. Students view and discuss artists’ films/​videos and readings in class and attend film festivals on campus or in the region.

Frequency: This course is typically offered in the winter term of every academic year, though scheduling may vary according to future term circumstances.
