Prerequisites: ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: ARTDES 115: Studio: 2D, ARTDES 120: Studio: 3D.

Description: This course introduces the basic printmaking media of lithography, intaglio, relief and silkscreen. Students explore and discuss the history of these techniques and their current usage. Projects are assigned in each of the four basic techniques, and the course experiments with the expressive possibilities of these media.

Frequency: This course is typically offered in both the fall and winter terms of every academic year, though scheduling may vary according to future term circumstances.
