Environmental Murals Partnership

Prerequisites: All OF THE FOLLOWING: ARTDES 200: Any 200 Level Studio.

Description: This course will partner with the Great Lakes National Wildlife Federation, the Ecology Center, and Detroit-based Stamps alum and muralist Ellen Rutt to generate several creative responses to current ecological issues. In luring an original mural to be installed in Detroit. The mural and other projects will highlight environmental and sustainability issues based on discussions with local residents. The goals of the projects include community increased education, awareness, engagement and beautification.

Frequency: This course is offered occasionally in the fall term.
