Prerequisites: ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: ARTDES 100: Drawing: Observation, ARTDES 105: Drawing: Visualization.

Description: This course focuses on the creative and practical uses of drawing to support design. Students explore the use of both traditional and computer-aided drawing processes as a means of ideation, research, pre-visualization, design development, and presentation for work that often finds its final form in another medium. Students use drawing as a tool to map ideas, develop stories, diagram events, and otherwise aid and communicate thought processes.

Frequency: This course is typically offered in the fall term of every academic year, though scheduling may vary according to future term circumstances.
