BA Senior Studio

Prerequisites: All OF THE FOLLOWING: ARTDES 300: Any 300 Level Studio.

Description: This course is offered for Stamps BA students in their final year of study. The BA Senior Studio is 400-level elective that offers BA students the opportunity to build on the particular characteristics of the BA degree and focus on a culminating, self-directed project. Students work independently or collaboratively to define a project plan with goals, benchmarks, and a timeline. Course work includes readings, discussion, and written reflection. Time and support are provided for students to gather background and contextual information, complete material and process prototypes, and begin iteratively developing the components needed for successful completion of their projects.

Frequency: This course is typically offered in the fall term of every academic year, though scheduling may vary according to future term circumstances.
