I am drawn to the movement and shapes that are created by the activity of the sun and I find that these patterns are repeated on all levels of nature. In this piece, I drew on past work where I explored space weather and the convection systems of the sun by repeating handles over the exterior of the vessel, emulating the arches created during solar prominence events. I arranged the handles in a way to emphasize their interactivity and suggest they are passing through the vessel to the other side.
