A-Bloom Stool and side table.
I designed this chair as a response to a chair I designed and created during my study abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is part of a larger series. This form features a whimsical petal-like top with angled concentric features. I created a matching set. This includes the stool, which has embroidered flower-like petal cushions. In addition to the small side table, which has veneered marquetry inlaid into the top. I created this set by blending and connecting Digital fabrication and fine woodworking. Parallels of manufacturable and custom craft furniture.
