A tall, vertical illustration combining traditional Chinese ink painting with playful cartoon elements. At the top, an ancient scholar in dark robes sits by water under a large full moon, with a young boy beside him. A long scroll of calligraphy unrolls downward through the entire image, forming a winding path.

Poetry to Me

This work is a visual journey through how Chinese poetry lives inside me. Classical verses are not just words on a page—they are memories, comfort, imagination, and play. From ancient scholars writing under the moon to modern children growing up among neon cities, poetry becomes a ribbon connecting generations. Each figure in the artwork climbs, explores, tastes, and creates along this endless scroll. The poems rise beyond their historical context, entering the everyday lives of those who inherit this cultural language. Through humor, nostalgia, and surreal composition, I celebrate how poetry continues to shape who we are and how we dream.
