"Absorption" is a digitally animated gif I created my junior year during my study abroad at UAL London. The piece is a part of a much bigger class collaboration where we were directed to create a reader around the theme of comfort, and what it mean to each one of us. I chose to focus on how comfort can manifest though means of touch, and how we transfer emotions through touch as well. By using colors that I believed were comforting to me, I symbolized the absorption of emotions or comfort through the touching of hands. I later spoke on this piece in the reader that the colors chosen also held significant in that I want to represent how comfort and emotions shared look different for every person.
