This is a preview for my documentary that I created for my IP project. My documentary is exploring how immigrants build strong communities through the preparation and consumption of food. Featuring my grandmother, an Iraqi immigrant, I showcase her cooking of traditional Chaldean dishes and their role in our family gatherings. Through interviews with her, I highlight the cultural significance of food, how recipes evolve in diaspora, and its unifying power. This project aims to educate others about my culture while connecting with immigrants and uncovering shared experiences.
