This series serves as a visual celebration of the diverse experiences of women of color within the University of Michigan community. Through portraits and narratives, the project aims to highlight these women's multifaceted experiences, challenges, and triumphs as students at the University of Michigan.
The project was born out of a desire to amplify the voices and stories of an underrepresented group, women of color, whose experiences often go unnoticed or marginalized. By showcasing their stories, the exhibit aims to foster a sense of representation for those who are either never represented or only represented for the benefit of the University.
