This triptych of digital weavings creates a new space in which to grapple with the ever evolving interrelationships between nature and technology. While man-made and natural patterns, such as redwood trees and high-rise buildings, seem very visually discrepant to the human eye, as I digitally interwove them, I discovered inherent similarities in their structures. As glitches in strands of DNA catalyze change and prove our inability to control evolution, I discovered that glitches in my files led me to discover ways in which the patterns of our present world can reintroduce themselves.
