An installation composed of a series of sculptures, prints and a life sized figure captive in a cast iron tub. Efflorescence explores gender in relationship to art, artist and audience through the lens of romantic love. It is an investigation of my challenge as a female artist using masculine materials to create a classical sculpture of a woman free from objectivity.
