A Living Library for a Better Life

Okyoung Noh

Exhibition, SAPY (Seoul, KR), 2022

Graduate

In this exhibition, A Living Library for a Better Life, Noh collected and scattered personal narratives about “a better life” and visual investigations archived through a long collaborative project with 5 interviewees, 8 discussion participants, 1 customer analyst. These archives give the appearance of a dumping ground of the world – where mythology and individuals coexist in disorder. However, these archives turn into material that can be reconstructed by the visitors of the library. Here, the new narration builds the circle of thoughts to re-interpret, re-construct, and re-publish the ideologies of “a better life.”
