Ted Ramsay: "Aesthetic Crossings" at WSG Gallery
Work by Stamps Professor Emeritus Ted Ramsay is featured in a new solo exhibition at Ann Arbor’s WSG Gallery. On view through April 25, Aesthetic Crossings features handmade paper made around the world, and includes Ted’s acrylic paintings, drawings, ceramics and prints. Celebrate Ted’s work at the exhibition reception this Sunday, March 22, from 2 – 5 p.m.
“Art should communicate on multiple aesthetic layers of meaning. For me there is a personal sense of spatial narration where abstract space and forms define their own narrative (visual) content. My acrylic figurative paintings explore the human condition and emotions while the use of myth allows for narrative story telling.”
