Tarik Dobbs Published in diode poetry journal, Chapbook Forthcoming
New poetry by Stamps student Tarik Dobbs was recently published in diode poetry journal volume 11.2. Dobbs’ work will also be featured in a chapbook to be published in March 2019 by Poached Hare, which will debut at the Association of Writers & Presses Conference in Portland, OR.
Poached Hare is excited to announce Tarik Dobbs as the author of Poached Hare Press’ debut chapbook. “Men Who Seek Refuge in the Djinn” will be released at AWP 2019 in Portland, OR. Tarik Dobbs is a Lebanese-American poet from Dearborn, Michigan. In 2018, he won a Roy W. Cowden Memorial Fellowship, a Hopwood Undergraduate Poetry Award, and the Paul and Sonia Handleman Poetry Award for his collected poems. He also won the Projector Poetry Prize from Projector Magazine UK.
