Stephanie Rowden: Audio Short Featured at Standout Shorts, Chicago
“The Being Sound,” a lyric audio short by Associate Professor Stephanie Rowden, was featured as part of Standout Shorts on October 7 at the Logan Theater in Chicago. Gwen Macsai of Re:sound & Sharon Mashihi of The Heart hosted two matinée screenings with a selection of short audio documentaries curated from the 2018 Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition (a.k.a, The Oscars of Radio). The event is part of The Fest, a two-week lineup of podcasts presented live on stage in venues across Chicago.
