Stamps Faculty Recognized as Honored Instructors

On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, Stamps faculty members Lee Marchalonis, John Marshall, and Andrew Thompson were recognized as Honored Instructors at a celebration hosted by Michigan Housing at the Michigan Union’s Rogel Ballroom. 

Since 2018, Michigan Housing has provided residential students an opportunity to honor the instructors who make a positive impact on their journeys at the University of Michigan. Each year, Michigan Housing residents nominate the faculty who challenge them, help them learn, and inspire them.

For the 2026 – 2027 academic year, residential students voted to honor Stamps faculty for the following courses:

• Lee Marchalonis, Lecturer II: Printmaking
• John Marshall, Professor : Artdes 216
• Andrew Thompson, Lecturer II: Artdes 120, Artdes 130
